Who we are In 2011, co-founders launched a business dedicated to solving the critical challenges of investing in energy and solve the issue of access and climate change in emerging markets, and dvholdr was born. The company started as a energy distribution platform, and evolved rapidly to offer innovative energy financial investment solutions by bringing together investors in blended debt funds. Today, dvholdr is a 40 person team, based in over 7countries and counting, that has built the most extensive track record of distributed investments. with a total of over $1b returned in investment funds for investors. Our mission is to pioneer and scale energy and oil and gas investments in emerging market.. We were the first movers in financing investment off-grid solar, and are now scaling up our investments in new sectors and geographies with the $500 million Empowerment Fund.
